" UNVEILING SCIENTIFIC MARVELS "
A specific Lesson that I learned during the mini science fair was : The Meteoroids , Meteors , and Meteorites.
What I learned was that Meteorites are fragments in space that forms when asteroids that broke apart long ago in the asteroid belt, located between Mars and Jupiter. Meteors are streaks of light in the sky that are caused by Meteoroids crashing through Earth's Atmosphere. And lastly Meteoroids are just like Meteorites that are just still fragments that are still in space, and Meteorites are fragments that have landed or passed through our Earth's Atmosphere. I also observed that Meteorites are really fascinating if you think about it, it's like touching an essence of space which if you think about it is pretty interesting.
• Lessons I learned were :
• Effects of Climate Change -
Rising global temperatures, an increase in the frequency of extreme weather events, a rise in sea level, the melting of glaciers and ice caps, damage to ecosystems and specie, and risks to the security of food and water supplies are all results of climate change.
• Big Bang Theory -
One scientific theory that explains the universe's beginnings and development is the Big Bang Theory.
From what the "Wandering Minds" discussed is that this theory, the universe was once hot and dense, and over billions of years, it expanded and cooled, forming planets, stars, galaxies, and eventually life as we know it.
• Realm of Light -
In the Realm Of Light, sparkling golden hues dance amid immaculate landscapes, creating an atmosphere of bright beauty and unending tranquility.
Everything is in perfect harmony here, and the soft warmth that permeates in the air calms everyone who is in its radiant embrace.
• Constellation -
From what I learned, is that a constellation is a collection of stars in the night sky that make an identifiable pattern. Throughout history, they have been utilized for scientific research, storytelling, and navigation.
• The 5 R's -
5 R's are: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repurpose, Refuse. Based on what I learned, Reusing and Repurposing prevents new products from being manufactured and sold items from being wasted; Recycling deals with what's left (now a reduced amount owing to the first four stages) by keeping it within a closed loop system. Refusing and Reducing encourages you to bring less into your home.
And lastly, in this picture above was also discussed during the mini science fair.
As you can see they're asking : WHY MARS?
In my opinion and own understanding, is that, WHY is mars the one that scientists picked that we humans will live in?
My Answer : Because Mars for me is one of the few two locations in the Solar System, where life may have existed, it continues to be our horizon target human exploration. Finding out more about the Red Planet will help us understand the past and future of our planet and could even shed light on the question of whether extraterrestrial life exists.
DOCUMENTATION :
The Photo above me is me in the yellow shirt trying to wait for the people to be done participating and interacting with the scientific figures, and later on I got to interact with the scientific figures.
The Photo above me is me reading about our Earth's crust, mantle, and cores. And understanding on how it helps out Earth and it's perks.
CONCLUSION & QUOTE :
The Science Fair experience really expanded my knowledge on science and the things that happens in our Solar System, outside of our Solar System, and some of its history too. The emotions I had walking into each station was joyful, exciting, and pumps my adrenaline everytime. Each moment was fun and fascinating.
